How to Set Up IPTV on a Fire TV Stick

What you need

• An Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K or Fire TV Cube, connected to your TV and Wi-Fi
• Your Afriptv login details (we send them on WhatsApp)
• About 10 minutes

Step 1: Allow apps from outside the Amazon store

1. On the Fire TV home screen, open Settings (the gear icon).
2. Go to My Fire TV → About, then click on the device name 7 times until you see "You are now a developer".
3. Go back to My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps.
4. Turn it ON for the Downloader app (install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore first if you do not have it).

Step 2: Install the IPTV player

1. Message us on WhatsApp and ask for the Fire Stick player code. We send you the code for the player we recommend and support.
2. Open Downloader, type the code in the address box and press Go.
3. When the download finishes, choose Install, then Done.
4. Back in Downloader, choose Delete to remove the installer file and free up space.

Step 3: Log in with your Afriptv details

1. Open the IPTV player from Your Apps & Channels.
2. Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" (or "Add playlist" → Xtream).
3. Enter the server URL, username and password exactly as we sent them on WhatsApp.
4. Wait 1–2 minutes while channels, movies and series load. Done!

Fire Stick running slowly?

• Restart it once a week: Settings → My Fire TV → Restart.
• Clear the player cache: Settings → Applications → Manage installed applications → your player → Clear cache.
• Use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band if your router has one, or an Ethernet adapter for the most stable picture.
